On Thursday 29th February, we held a Parent/Child dodgeball tournament in the theme of our class novel, ‘Hilda and the Troll’. We started our warmup by practicing our aiming and catching skills with our parents, to catch out the trolls. After this the madness began, we went head-to-head to compete in the dodgeball match of the century! The kids had a fantastic time and were competitive until the end; however, our Class 2 dads might have beat them in terms of competitiveness! We ended our session with a snack and a reading from our story to unwind from the fun event! Our next one will be a portrait themed painting event in Summer 1 so keep your eyes peeled...
