Earlier this month, our children in Years 3, 4, 5 and 6 took part in a cross-country competition, held at Sherburn High School. This was an opportunity to compete against children from local primary schools that have also joined The Small Schools Festival Cluster – with a timetable of events planned throughout this academic year.
Mr Bealey and Miss Bowers accompanied the children and were really pleased with how well the children represented Burton Salmon. Well done to everyone who took part, it was a tough course, but we managed to secure a medallist in each race category – see below for the full table of results.
The next events that we’re taking part in before Christmas, are a KS2 Indoor Athletics event and a KS1 Dodgeball – which promise to be great fun!
