What a glorious day to host our Easter Fun Day at Burton Salmon!
Yet again, the children produced some eggstra-special creations for their Easter Bonnet and Decorated Egg entries for Mrs O to judge.
The Easter Bonnet winners are as follows:
- Easter Bonnet Winner - 1st Prize = Asher
- Easter Bonnet Winner - 2nd Prize = Freddie B
- Easter Bonnet Winner - 3rd Prize = Jessica L
The Decorated Easter Egg winners are as follows:
- 1st Prize = Moses
- 2nd Prize = Penny
- 3rd Prize = Isabelle G
We all enjoyed spending time outside this afternoon in the sunshine too, as a whole school, for the hugely anticipated egg-rolling competition. This was a really eggciting event, with children competing to launch the egg (underarm) the furthest (not behind, not in the field next door or the neighbour's hedge, but straight ahead). Throughout the event we had different leaders, such as Penny, Zoe, Beau, James D and then Bromley - but the outright winner was Romeo!
Staff then competed and Mrs Newton showed her prowess at egg-rolling.
The winners can be seen with a selection of their eggstraordinary Easter Egg prizes, which were awarded during this afternoon's assembly.
