Easter

Following the success of last year, we held another Easter Day on Thursday 30th March with all funds raised going towards the Burton Salmon PTA – FOBSS – Friends of Burton Salmon School - £66.00.

The Easter bonnet/hat competition was a huge success! There were some very imaginative and creative designs, which made it very difficult to choose winners, as they were all so fabulous. After much consideration, 3rd place went to Bromley for her ribbon-decorated bonnet, 2nd place went to Asa for his red crown design and 1st place went to Poppy for her Spring-filled, colourful bonnet.

The Decorated Easter Egg competition, was also a hit. Again, there were some fantastic entries, and the 3rd place went to Teddy for his rabbit (which Bromley is holding, as Teddy was a little camera-shy), 2nd place went to Kian for his maths lesson entry with a Mr Bealey and Mrs O egg and the 1st prize went to Isabelle E-C for her sweetie shop design.

There was a close-fought competition in the egg-rolling, but Buddy managed to claim 1st prize; Ollie, Penny and Alex weren’t far behind!

Well done to everyone (and parents/carers) who took part! And a big thank you to Mrs Franks for the wonderful selection of Easter puddings you created for lunchtime.
