North Yorkshire Public Health has asked that we share this information with you again to encourage as many families to have their children vaccinated against flu this year. No-one wants their child in hospital over winter and Christmas.
Less two and three year old children have been vaccinated against flu this year than in 2021.
The NHS is seeing increases in the number of younger children contracting flu and higher hospitalisation rates in this age group.
