Barlow Church of England Primary School are part of a three-school federation and we wish to appoint a GTA and MSA who has experience of working with key stage 2 children.

We are looking for the right person to join our team who has high expectations for learning and would relish the opportunity to develop the GTA role. The teaching assistant position would be based in Class 3, with our Year 5 and 6 children. A strong knowledge of the KS2 English and mathematics curriculum is essential and the successful candidate must hold a relevant level 2 qualification to be able to work with young children. If you are invited to interview on Wednesday 7th July, you will work with the class teacher to deliver a pre-planned mathematics task to a group of children. You will be given the planning before the interview.

Hours of work are:

MSA (Band 3) 12.00pm -1:00pm Monday-Friday, GTA (Band 4) 8:45am – 12:00pm Monday-Friday, plus 1:30-3:45pm each Thursday afternoon.
