Barlow Church Primary School is part of a three-school federation – the White Rose Federation. We wish to appoint a GTA and MSA who has experience of working with young children.

We are looking for the right person to join our team who is has high expectations for learning and would relish the opportunity to develop the GTA role. The teaching assistant position would be based in Class 1, with our nursery, reception and Year 1 children and must hold a relevant level 2 qualification to be able to work with young children. (Please see job description for further details).

If you are invited to interview on Tuesday 6th July, you will work with the class teacher to deliver a pre-planned mathematics task to a small group of children, followed by a short story to a group of reception pupils.

Hours of work are:


MSA (Band 3) 12.00pm - 12:30pm Monday - Friday, GTA (Band 4) 8:45am – 3:45pm Monday - Friday
