Bee Day

A big thank you to those families that supported our non-uniform day at the end of last term, which led on from Class 1’s learning into Bees and dressing up for World Bee Day. There were some fantastic outfits, as children came dressed in themes of black, yellow, and even dressed up as Bumblebees!

With the money raised, we have been in touch with The British Bee Charity and adopted a Silver Hive and used the additional raised monies, to donate to their wonderful charity. They are busy bees raising funds and promoting initiatives to help the welfare of bees. With an array of fundraising events and volunteer projects, they aim to make the world and our environment a better place.

UPDATE:

We have taken delivery this week of a lovely gift and certificate package from the British Bee Charity.

This included a jar of honey, a keyring, our certificate, flowerbomb seeds and a bee survival/recovery kit.
