'In Nature Club, our children expressed interest in creating a fruit and vegetable patch to contribute to the community like the farmers in our nearby fields.
They went shopping, selected seeds, tools and paint and got to work.
I have been so impressed with their determination to create something purposeful for this area of school. They've even expressed that they hope Mrs Smith will use our fruit and veg to make some delicious healthy treats!' - Mrs Titterington.
Mila said, 'We were painting the the wooden edges of the old sand pits - there was already a big Rosemary bush in there. We planted strawberries, chillies, rhubarb, cucumbers and tomatoes. We're hoping to eat some of the things we have grown!'
