'Last Monday, Cassie (Jake's Mum) came in and did cross stitch with us.
We all got a needle and thread then we had to put the thread through the needle. After we did that, we got our base. We had to put a cross on the base; once you finished one colour, you moved on to the next colour. After you used every colour, you did the details like eyes and maybe some decoration.
I found it quite challenging at first, but then I got the hang of it, even after I had never done it before. Other people's heads were exploding but they luckily got through it!' communicated Bromley.
Cross stitch is comprised of X-shaped stitches created on material which has a weave. You can have any design, and these can also be bought as kits.
A big thank you to Cassie for donating your time to show us this new skill.
