Well, what can we say? It was not exactly the weather we had hoped for, nevertheless, the children in Reception to Year 6, had great fun on last week’s trip to Bridlington. Thank you to the children who took the time to enter the design a sandcastle competition – there were some lovely entries. The two winners were Tobi in Class 2 and Mila-Rose in Class 3, who both received a bucket and spade prize.
‘On Tuesday, Reception and Year’s 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 went to the beach. Class 3 had a competition to see who could build the tallest sand mound. Once we did that, we had another competition to build a tunnel through it. We had our picnic lunches and overall, it was a great beach trip,’ Mila reported.
