Class 2 and the School Council led the decision to organise a cake bake sale, which was held after school in the playground on Thursday 24th March in aid of the DEC Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal - Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal | Disasters Emergency Committee (dec.org.uk)
We asked for donations of home-baked buns and cakes, to be brought in to school on the Thursday morning (we gratefully accepted shop bought items too!) Due to the amazing generosity of our families and the volume of donations, we were able to extend the cake sale to after school on Friday 25th March as well - in the glorious sunshine :-)
Our little school managed to raise a grand total of £219.91!
