Today (Friday 10th December) we have supported the Save the Children UK charity by asking the children and staff to come to school wearing a Christmas Jumper for a donation of £1.00 made payable via ParentPay. We haven’t calculated the final amount at the moment, as some payments are still due in – but we are currently at: £132.30! https://www.savethechildren.org.uk/
UPDATE: the grand total raised was £141.30! Thank you for all your donations.
Today has also coincided with a very special visit for the children from Father Christmas and his helpful elf ‘Twinkle’! All the children paid a visit to Santa’s Grotto and received a gift each. Thank you for visiting Burton Salmon School; we know you are very busy at this time of year!
