On Wednesday 21st February, children, and staff from across the federation made the journey to Utilita Arena Sheffield for the annual Young Voices Concert 2024.
Upon arrival, the children were greeted with an enthusiastic introduction to the lead conductor, David Lawrence, and his band, to begin our rehearsals before the big event. The children joined over 5,000 participants for the show and performed alongside acts such as, Nandi Bushell, MC Grammar (who sang a World Book Day themed rap), and Urban Strides for an unforgettable night.
Our children were a credit to the federation, and we couldn't have been prouder of the hard work and dedication in their rehearsals to their enthusiastic, vibrant performances on the big day! Well done to Lily D, Avelynn, Lily H, Jessica, India, Mila, Gracie, and Ophelia, who represented Burton Salmon so brilliantly. A big thank you also goes to all the staff that accompanied the children.
